I'm going away for a week and can't think what to take on my GP32, I've got Day of the Tentacle to finish and Indianna Jones +Fate of Atlantis and I'm wanting some more RPGS.
Shining Force doesn't work yet, FF5 and Unchared Waters 2 have transparency problems and translation patches don't work. Are there any RPGs/Adventure games/very special games indeed around for any console that work fully and are worth getting?

I can recommend SD Snatcher on the MSX. It's a neat little Konami cyberpunk RPG that I'm playing through right now. Also, Phantasy Star 4 on the Megadrive appears to play well on the GP32 from what I've seen. But I'm not willing to start a game on that yet because my savestates wouldn't work with the next version of fgen...

hmm Phantasy Star, I'd forgot about that. I bought the GBA cart of that ages ago though haven't done much as I got bored on PS1 (Same as with Breath of Fire 1...).
Thats one thing I can do - stock up on walkthroughs for my GBA games.

Bahumat lagoon is good on the SNES is good.
Breath of fire is ok too.
The Ishar games on the ST are very good, and very pretty. But in a first person style.

Highly reccomend PS4. Plays great on fgen with sound and even if savestaes arent compatable with the next realese its plays fantastic as it is now, even at 133

yup, awesome game, i highly recommend it for everyone. must-have on your smc.
also, with fgen32 try streets of rage 2 (has sound) or 3 (no sound) and golden axe 2 also with sound.

Has anyone tried mario golf on GPAdvance? You'd never know...
I have, but it takes maybe 20 mins to start a game because of the loading times.

So you can't save on PS4?? Is there a version FGEN that you can save and play this game well?
The first public release of Fgen (available at http://www.retrodev.info/) has savestates which will work with PS4. HOWEVER, when rlyeh gets around to implementing the z80 (full sound) support, those savestates most probably won't work. But as triksR4rabits pointed out, you could just use this version of Fgen to complete the game...
