Hello all.
I am to be making a game soon for the GP32!
The game will be called: De Gescal. It is latin for To not die!
The game will be a mix between Azel: Panzer Dragoon RPG.
The game will be 2D I'm afraid, because my knowledge of C++ is very sparse.
But don't fear! I have an expert helping me, it is a book, aha.
I will keep you posted, but for now I am doing concept art, so soon I will some art to post. If anyone could help me with textures, then please PM me, but not now, when I have the game in development, I will tell you, then I will tell you that you can PM me, so do not PM me now! Don't worry, when I was like 7, I was a MASTER at DOS, so C++ should be easy for me!
Take care!

I Think it's a pretty good name. What kind of theme will the game have, i know for sure that if it's a gothic theme the name would fit perfectly.

The main game theme is about a girl who witnesses her parents' murder, so she seeks out the man who killed them, but she falls in love with him. I will make the game so there is a part where you can go around the streets asking people about him and trying to find him. I could incoporate speech, but it could be too large.

Yeah leave the speach out cause it would be just to big. The text is just as good anyway. I've got good ideas for an rpg but i can't really do it at the mo cause im making a game with Yeti 3D. My games got the code name W.I.P. but i've given it the tentative title, Stalk'n'shoot. Anyone got any ideas of names for it cause i might change the name? and does anyone know how to make stills on your pc one of my friends can do this thing when it takes a picture of wats on the screen at the time without using a camera but he won't tell me. If knew i could post pics of my game. Good for you sadako. Im looking forward to playing your game.

Just hit printscreen (the key to the right of F12). It should take a picture of the screen, and then you can just paste the image into whatever editor you use.

Alt-PrintScreen will take a picture of the current window.

I was pasting it in to a folder?!? where should i paste it?
Also im going to start a little project entitled project Anti-Grav for the GP using Yeti again. I can't give any details as they're secret. If it works out the way Im thinking it will kick ass.

Sounds good if it gets off the ground :D

You might also want to investigate the Gigas engine for developing it as opposed to jumping in with C++ - it being a pretty capable RPG engine as things go (though granted, its still on its way to completion, not there yet).

C++ for an RPG will take a looooong time, I somehow suspect. Since you've got to create the engine *as well* as the maps, script, cutscenes, and anything else you want to have. With a ready made ongine, you've only got to do the actual script/maps/cutscenes, which could help give you something tangible faster...

Look forward to seeing what you do with the idea, though :D

I look forward to the concept art, because from that I'll be able to tell how good the entire project will be. No kidding.

I haven't tried gigas engine yet cause i've been busy. Is it worth trying cause I think Zots good and i can create an RPG on my pc and then use the file type for the GP version. Ow and has anyone got racing car sprites? if so pm me cause i can't specify wat type i need yet cause its a secret.

Latin is extremly hard, I must admit, but it is still easier than korean. The concept art will be posted in a different topic in a few minutes, so don't stop looking.. thank you! I will create the RPG on the PC and then transfer to GP32.
