Yep thats right cause ive seen the first game being made for it and it can't be a ps2 game because the ps2's graphics are pretty crap to be honest.

Yeah i was referring to both the xbox next's xna but also the revolution. And steve-o- let me tell you this, I've seen the first game named for PS3. Its called Black Knight. And yes ive seen it running on a video. Its not got the graphics you think. It has as good graphics as ninja gaiden for xbox nothing better. So if thats wat the cell chips putting out, sony are gonna fall straight out of the next, next gen console race cause microsoft and nintendo will just wipe the floor with sony. The xbox next has the most realistic graphics and thats cause they're basically putting a moded pc into a different case but im not complaining. The revolution will, this is the hotest rumor, have a hologram projector.
Give me a Link to this Game that you have saw for the PS3....

If they already have a game made for it, then that must mean they already have a working PS3, SO WHY WOULD THEY BE WANTING TO MAKE ANOTHER WORKING PS3 FOR E3 2005 ???????????????????????????

no, that means they have a developers version, which wi probably the size of a house, they want to get it all scaled down and packed into a final working prototype

Iirc, Microsoft were sending Apple mac kits to their 2nd/3rd party developers, as Microsoft do not have their power pc (or equivalent ) chip developed yet. The specs were a 3GHZ PPC and a Radeon 9800. Can't remember about the ram, 512MB I should think.

This should give some clue as to what the final specs will be. Obviously, the final powerPC chip and ATI's graphics will be cut-down slightly. But thats still gonna be pretty powerful for a dedicated games console.

...Expect Sony (minus the ATI card) and Nintendo to have pretty much identical kits. Though Nintendo will likely have something else up it's sleeve, like the Silicon Graphics chip in N64 or the Gekko PPC in the cube.

Yeah the games was running on a dev kit they were sent from sony. When I find the place i saw it ill tell you. I just have to look through 100+ pages of news to find it.

Well, That doesnt sound like much of a console.. just a PC Squashed into a Console look box......

Yeah but the 512Mb of ram will make it really stand out. Its gonna kick ass. wonder if they'll make a halo game for it even though the halo series finishes in halo 2.

bear in mind that, that was a development kit, The actual hardware will be, built specifically for a video game console. The ATI 9800 is just the closest equivilant thats around at the moment.

And a 3gig PPC Is pretty damn impressive for a console if they pull it off.

btw: I just made a guess about the 512MB thing, I'd have to dig up an old copy of gamesTM to be sure.
