Is there such a device that you can insert you smc into a Compact flash size card and use that to copy files around which would be handy for Psion,PocketPC and various palmtop user to arrange there files(while i'm at work :D :D :D )

As far as I know, no.. mostly cos they use different voltages (I believe). Also operate at different speeds (CF is faster transfer than SMC).

I wonderd this, because I used a compaq Ipaq a while back, and had loads of SMCs but no CF.

Anyone else know for sure?

Well, if CF is faster, you COULD theoretically build an adapter.
As long as the CF handles at least the speed of an SMC, it would be fine.
The voltage shouldn't be a problem - transformators will help :)

Also, there exist quite strange converters (SMC -> 3,5 inch disk), but I never heard
of such an adapter...

But it would theoretically possible.

Why not just a little computer thingy where you can browse files on 2 cards at once and copy, paste, and delete? I think that there is prolly something like that so you could get a 512MB CF and just transfer what you want to the SMC everytime you want something diffrent :) I've never heard of one, but I am 99% sure that something like that exists. I'd pay ~$50 for one if there was one.
