Asking The Public's Advice

Jr2swiss offered his Zodiac 1 to me at a more affordable price that I'm sure I could get the money for within a few weeks, if my stuff sells for the prices I'm wanting to sell it at. Sorry, Dave, I'm one of these guys who likes to spend as little as possible if I can get near the same performance for less. You know, I never knew I had collected this much stuff for my PS2....... Anyways, I've decided I will get a Zodiac one way or another. I got sold on it by the Genesis re-releases.

That is fine, go for it. Mine is a Zodiac 2 though which is why it is more money.

But doesn't it stand to reason that code programmed to run in a console's native environment will always run smoother than emulation? No matter how good emulation gets, it's still not the real thing and there will always be some issues, however microscopic.

Yup. It's exactly the same amount more as a new Zodiac 2 is to a new Zodiac 1.

Well I have heard of those re-makes on the Zodiac... Don't bother with those, they are very slow and lame. Best to stick with the emus.

I have some pics of the Zodiac that is for sale *on ebay now* . If interested bid or Buy. It. Now.

Man, even my parents are pushing me to buy a GP32 rather than a Zodiac. Which is weird, because they're usually the type of people that like me to follow through on what I choose to do (which was to buy Jr2swiss's Zodiac). I dunno....... Since Lik-Sang is flashing all of their remaining FLUs with the euro firmware now, I might go for that (my SMC is already prepped to work with the euro firmware). And if my PS2 still sells, I might even have enough extra money to buy an extra SMC of some sort....... But like I said, I dunno.........

There are alot of really cheap FLUs and Non-lit units on eBay now. Hmmmm. I wonder why ;)

But for GP32s Go for the BLU is my reccommendation, and they come w/Euro FW.

The zodiacs a great product with great games coming on the horizon, best to take them now before this rediculously good deal passes.
