my DC 3v port dosn't work on my gp. i think... because there is no
official one. so i'm using the DC 3v with 250 mA from my gameboy pocket and i tested some others. but i can't use them with my gp.
is the port defect?
maybe someone can poste here what kind of adapter he is using(mAh, ...)
;)

Don`t quote me on this, But also afaik 300mA is the minimum ampage you can use on the GP32, It does sayon the back of the unit "Adapter input 3v 300mA".

Trooper

GP32 is a centre-negative power supply connector, and requires 300ma or more. Doesn't matter if you go over, but going under may overheat your PSU or activate it's over-current protection.

I've had some problems with a 250ma one.

When the GP wuz clocked @166mhz, it somtimes reboots.

Obviously because of power shortage.

Can i just cut the plug of my gameboy Adapter and then i have to put it
on it again but in the other way!??? LIKE THAT:eek:ooooooooooooooooooo

You can align drawings without using spacers as follows:

Code:
. . . .
. . . .
. . . .

See ?

Just use the "code" tag. Eg.

[ c o d e ]

Your ascii drawing

[ / c o d e ]

(No spaces in the tags obviously, I just put them there to stop them being interpreted)

Just to note, you can have any amount of amps in your DC adapters and batteries, just as long as it is 250ma or higher. I have been using a 900ma car adapter for about 2 years now without problems. The GP32 will just draw whatever power it needs.

Heh sorry, AC/DC adapter. The current from an outlet is usually AC (Alternating Current) while your GP32 needs DC (Direct Current). Most electronics need DC power, so they will use an AC/DC adapter (hence why it's called an ADAPTer).
