Hey I found there are updates to XFCE on the angstrom reop.
Current openpandora feed contains libxfcegui version 4.6.1-r5.5
Angstrom feed contains libxfcegui 4.6.4-r0.6 in glibc, while eglibc repo is more up to date with 4.8.1-r0.

So far I installed 4.6.4 which seemed to work OK, while 4.8.1 booted into XFCE with a black screen and cursor shutdown window popped up fine though!
That's about as far as I've played around with it
Hmmm, after a bit of browsing just found this old thread about XFCE 4.8. No progress here since 2011?
And since April 2012 XFCE 4.10 is out!
Doesn't it looks sexy? Don't worry - you can still make XFCE 4.6 look sexy.

I think XFCE needs some love -> its still the default GUI shipping with SZ1.52
Surely someone can build 4.8 or 4.10 for our lovely Pandoras? Think of all the functionality and bugfixes we're missing out on!
