X11 Ported!


kde wouldnt be any fun, perhaps a very stripped down version would run, but the resolution is also much to low for it.
Matchbox (http://projects.o-hand.com/matchbox/screenshots.html)
oder GPE (http://gpe.handhelds.org/) would be much more intresting i think, it also features many applications made for small ram and screensize

Wow, Matchbox looks pretty much perfect for the gp2x. With the right skinning, you'd barely know that you'd left the gp2x menu system.

You can get Links2x here. You don't need to use X11 to use it, though. It's a utility to run that launches the Links executable.

wow..... that looks awesome!!!
someone has to port this!!!
and should also be quite usefull, atleast the menu since it is fully control able by the stick.

Wow, Matchbox looks pretty much perfect for the gp2x. With the right skinning, you'd barely know that you'd left the gp2x menu system.

Or even better, Matchbox can be our substitute for that damn GP2X launcher B)
