Would the old TMS320C55x dsp patches for tremor help us?

Just noticed there are some dsp patches for Tremor, has anybody tried using these with our dsp or would it be futile/too much work to get it running on Pandora?

TI's C55x DSP series is very different from the C64x+ DSP in Pandora.

I think you wouldn't save that much CPU time moving it to the DSP anyway, unless we're talking something like decoding multiple streams simultaneously. If I remember correctly, Tremor only used a few ms per frame on a 200MHz GP2X, probably < 5.

K, thanks for the input Exophase, from TI's site it almost sounded like they had designed the c64x+ to be pretty much backwards compatible, but that's typical... I trust your input more than I trust myself to get it running properly, so I'll leave it alone :)
