Sneaky, but kinda cool, and I guess it's fair play today when a CPU like that is probably cheaper than the flash RAM you're using.For anyone wondering how on earth this was accomplished: there's a second CPU in the cartridge. It's a microcontroller with a 48MHz Cortex-M0.

I was thinking that, as the extra space in larger carts would allow for a better machine. Look at Intel's Edison, it's a computer in an SD card case. Imagine running the whole game on there, then just pushing whatever data was needed out to the host computer. Be interesting, but also a bit cheating.If this could be adapted for other consoles it would make for some interesting software.
