I'm running a little low on memory in my smc, and think i read some where that some emulators allow you to play the roms from their zio files.
Can someone give me a list of which roms I can do this with.

I know that the PCEngine-Emu "GPEngine" can handle zipped ROMs. By the way, GPEngine is one of my favourite Emulators: Always looked up to PCEngine games back in the days when I owned my C64. B)

Rlyeh's SMS emu
fMSX32 - Rlyeh's MSX emu
One of the NES emus, I don't remember which one as I haven't taken advantage of the zipping yet until I take the time to decide which emu I like

Those are the ones I remember in addition to the previously mentioned two.

I use atari st roms zipped as this seems 2 save on space quite a bit if i remember correctly the files sizes zipped + unzipped
But you can't use the file recognizer when using zipped files as it will not recognize them. Depends upon if you want space or convienence.

Castaway file recognizer DOES work with zipped roms...
If it doesn't, you have an old version...
