Good week for things I'd never seen: cassette adapter dealie for the 2600 with 8 of the games made for it, and a funky ps2 multitap stand with built in av switch

That particular ps2 has a 40gb drive in it, one on the shelf has a 500gb, other on the shelf is waiting for me to find a reasonable priced ide drive before I take the network adapter out of the bag. I have a memor32 I've been using to make fmcb memory cards, the 40gb machine will be my first run t setting up fmhb myself

A cheaper alternative to the fisher Space Pen,
The Tonbow Airpres ,
Works pretty good, it’s the perfect length for me to hold, etc

Nothing to complain about for 15 € whit 5 Spare Refilling Packs..

I have found the cheap alternatives to space pens don't work for me. I need something normal length, clicky, and prefer metal. I haven't tried these, so I will look into them. Do they work well when writing vertical or when the ink gets wet?

I tried to write Vertical (over the head), and it worked pretty good,
According to the Website, it should also write when it gets wet, but i ditnt tryed it out..

I like its shortnes, as that makes it quite poketable, and yes, its plastik, but it should be pretty tought..

the new installer will allow you to install FMCB to the HDD now. so you dont need a MC to boot from.
also some of the IDE to SATA bridges do work allowing you toi use a sata drive. max size is 2TB ..

I bought a parts x220 because it was cheaper than buying a replacement screen, and it came with a 9 cell battery.

I finally had time today to disassemble both and swap it out...and somehow blew the backlight fuse. Nothing but trouble with this laptop lately. I am trying to decide if I should put the screen back on the parts computer (an i5, no USB 3) and move my SSD and RAM over from the one with the blown fuse (i7). Also, I am heavily leaning toward bypassing the fuse, because lazy, and I don't have fancy stuff for soldering.

In other news I have also been having input issues after doing a fresh Slackware install on this laptop in anticipation of replacing the screen. Yay. Pretty frustrated with the whole thing.

Also, last night i bought a 1 pound broccoli "crown", so very little stem, and some frozen blueberries.

I find trouble with cheap biros when I try to write on relatively shiny paper, like a lot of newspaper paper. Doing the crosswords in papers can be an especial test for cheap biros. Especially if the ink around the ball has dried slightly and is holding the roller ball firmly, newspaper sometimes just doesn't have the grip to get that ball moving.

I got a Bullet 400 for my birthday in the nineties and I was consistently disappointed by the quality of the refills. The first cartridge that came with it wrote perfectly smooth and without interruptions, I loved it. All other ones after that were scratchy and prone to intermittent failure.
