I'm wanting to try the latest hot-fix, what files do I back up and then put back on my SD card to keep my settings for Mini Menu, and any custom settings in XFCE (I have added some items to the right click menu)

After much searching about, as I'm not at my usual computer and have neglected to keep a copy of these on my Pandora, one of the following should be of use to you

http://boards.openpa..._20#entry138885 Linux-SWAT method

http://boards.openpa..._20#entry138910 Ivanovic Method

GUI Method from Blue Protoman http://repo.openpand...l&app=akgbackup

Pending method planned by Skeezix http://boards.openpa...ore-to-sd-tool/

Suggested method by Christoph.Krn http://boards.openpa...on/#entry127352

Pandorawiki method of backing up whole rootfs http://pandorawiki.o...9_to_an_SD_Card

The 1st or 2nd are good bets, or use the GUI method by Blue Protoman.

In addition I believe Streak (commander-beefs) Cli Love pnd package also contains some backup tools for the Cli familiar. http://repo.openpand...pp=cli-love-app See the newer thread here http://boards.openpa...e-version-126a/ and somewhere is a thread about how to use most of the included tools, which I seem to recall details the backup tools in that thread, which I haven't found yet.

Hope one of those helps :)

Basically though you want to backup your /Home directory mainly and the tar and untar process do that just fine for switching to new HF versions.

Wow quite a bit to go at there.

Many thanks for your help.

When we get home I'll start going through the links.
