I went to watch some Xvid AVI files that were around 170MB in size and 490x368 and while the audio played the picture kept getting really blocky and weird. I'm assuming it's because I didn't encode the videos down to the Wiz's native resolution of 320x240.
I hate looking around and trying a whole bunch of different video encoders. What's a good video encoder for Linux that'll let me quickly and easily encode video files? The more lightweight the better, as I don't need all of the features of a full video editing application.
