Hi there everyone,

I've been trying to create a VPN connection without much success. The main problem being that I cannot get access to the options to set it up in the first place. When I access the "configure VPN" tab through the wifi connections button on the task bar, the add, edit, delete etc. buttons are greyed out. Similar to what's described here: http://bugs.openpandora.org/index.php?do=details&task_id=154
I've gone through the solution suggested at the website, but run into trouble at the last command. The "opkg install networkmanager-openvpn" comes back with:

"Installing networkmanager-openvpn (0.8.1-r0.6) to root...
Downloading http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/feeds/unstable/ipk/glibc/armv7a/base/networkmanager-openvpn_0.8.1-r0.6_armv7a.ipk.
Installing libudev0 (151-r24.6) to root...
Downloading http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/feeds/unstable/ipk/glibc/armv7a/base/libudev0_151-r24.6_armv7a.ipk.
Collected errors:
* check_data_file_clashes: Package libudev0 wants to install file /lib/libudev.so.0.6.1
But that file is already provided by package * check_data_file_clashes: udev
* check_data_file_clashes: Package libudev0 wants to install file /lib/libudev.so.0
But that file is already provided by package * check_data_file_clashes: udev
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package networkmanager-openvpn."

I'm not techie enough to fully understand what this all means, or how to get around it. All I know is that that is all I could find about setting up a VPN, and it doesn't work, so any help is greatly appreciated :)

I just ran into same problem with installing networkmanager-openvpn. I used the force switch and installation went fine and I can now use VPN. So:

sudo opkg install --force-overwrite networkmanager-openvpn
