I've grabbed one of these in preparation for the Pandora:

It's an excellent little receiver, and works well with Windows Mobile, but I've had a hell of a time trying to get it to work in OSX, Linux and Windows.
It seems that GPSD *may* be talking to it, but I'll be damned if I can get anything much to happen in Viking.
I think I can probably get hold of a few of the GPS receivers linked above and send them the way of developers in exchange for a Pandora port of Viking (or a good GPS mapping software, preferably with google maps support) and a "for dummies" repeatable guide for setting up the receiver in Angstrom/Ubuntu on the Pandora.
I could probably do all this myself, but I simply don't have time!
