I'm curious about the power adapter connected and the USB host ability.

Will the Pandora gain more power for USB with plugging it into an outlet? Or will it stay limited to "500 milliamps." How much would that limit us in terms of how much and what kind of things can we connect to the USB port/hub? Will it cut off if it asks for too much power (I believe there is a handshake for USB 2.0 speeds and power acquisition.)?

I already preordered, by the way, and I can't wait to get it =D

500 mA is the maximum standard power level of usb - so anything with a driver should work.

If you plan to use a hub, just use a powered hub if your worried, just like a regular computer. If your plugging things like mouses and keyboards in you won't need all that power anyways. If your plugging stuff in that actually uses that much power, a powered hub would be better anyways, so as to not waste battery.
