any kernel / usb expert here ?

it seems there is a problem
when you connect usb 2.0 devices to usb 1.1 ports on linux
and thus on gp32linux .... :(
anyone tested usb2.0 devices on gp32 linux ????

[ i have test an smc card reader usb2.0 -> dont work ]
and on my laptop i tested a dlink usb2.0 ethernet
[ dont work on the usb 1.1 port]

-------------
cyberic, toholl what do you think ???

My 6GB-notebook-Hard-Disk-USB2.0-cased works perfectly :)

But my 256mb pendrive-mp3player-USB1.0 doesn't work :(

Any news of Toholl and his SMC Kernel module writing improvement?

i dont know if his laptop is repaired ... i hope so
we need more help with the kernel
but maybe we will have some good news soon

anyway
i hope to see some interesting stuff at fosdem 2005
in the embedded developpers room

hmm
seems that I just had the wrong distro
I got the USB hub to work on a differant distro ( the one mentioned in the apache thread works )

Any progress with apache and fbi?

Yes USB is only supported in some distros, including the one in the Apache thread.
