Time To Rejoyce? N64 Goldeneye!?

Mario Tennis: Doesn't work.

My favourite N64 games :(

As they said earlier - Mupen is not even complete yet! More games may work, and working games may not work later.
Goldeneye didn't work (not that it's fully playable now) at all previously.

Be patient -

I wouldnt call this the "holy shit!" moment just yet, at least not until it gets down below the 700mhz mark and has sound. Until then it's just a really cool technical achievement for such a small device. Hopefully some day will get some DSP action in there if someone every figures out how and maybe that'll help things become a bit more tolerable.

I think anyone who thinks golden eye will run on the Pandora at a good speed
has lost their marbles ,it just won't happen ,not now or 3 years down the line.

There are however many games that will play full speed in the future ,i think
the games that won't work good enough will be golden eye ,perfect dark ,zelda mm,
possibly pilotwings for graphics errors and some really old crappy games that you
wouldn't want to play anyway.

this is the games i think should/will eventuly run at a very good speed with little
no errors.

Mario 64
Mario Kart 64
Forsaken 64
Banjo Kazooie
Diddy Kong Racing
Wave Race 64
Mario Party
Mario Party 2
Mario Party 3 - high system requirment
Mario Golf - graphics errrors plusfix
turok 64 - mabe can be slow depends on graphics
Starfox 64
Fzero
Zelda oot
Blast Corps - speed issues mabe - too fast fix
castlevania
castlevania 2
megaman legends
goemon - speed good - graphics mabe errors

not got time to write a full list but theres really plenty
that will/should run good.

i however really want dreamcast ,yes n64 would put panda on the map for sure
but dreamcast would actuly give the pandora some really up to date games with
good graphics ,it would make people buy a pandora in the 10000s

I'm just curious what your measure of won't work good is?
As Adventus say's:

Perfect dark: Works (after i added a mempak to the controller). Renders fine (runs pretty well actually ~50-80% @ 800mhz).

Not saying your right or wrong, just wont to know what your measure is, and how you came by your list?
Is it just from knowing which are harder to emulate?

You question the ability of an N64 emulator, and then discuss the merits of a Dreamcast emulator? I'm pretty sure any credibility you had just went completely out the window. :p

Sounds very promising. Just add frameskip and the speed shouldn't be an issue anymore (at the most games). :)
I hope, Sound doesn't eat too much juice frum the OMAP, but I know we have DSP's and other goodies for that job. 800MHz sounds like the Battery of the Pandora will have a hard time during N64 Emulation but maybe this can be also optimized in the future.
I remember ages ago, I played an old (VERY OLD  ) N64 Emulator onto my Pen2 PC (266MHz). All I had was a 8MB Voodoo2 graphics card, the Emulator was afaik UltraHLE - and it just worked! :)
So I'm sure, there can be done alot with the Pandora OMAP Power in the Future.

Ummmmm... based on what exactly? That whole list looks like a shot in the dark, and many of them contradict what Adventus has already suggested works/doesn't work

I know a lot of people are worried about the sound not being added to the equation yet, and whilst I do love the soundtracks to many N64 games, in the Pandora- i.e. a portable device- I doubt I'd want the sound enabled on the transport system/out and about, so it's not much of an issue for me personally, so Adventus' list seemed pretty encouraging to me :)

As much as I love all the games posted, one shining gem is missing

"The New Tetris"

I must have this game in a portable version, or I will waste away into nothingness and die

And who are you on this subject?
Are you a Dev or even someone who has used the program?
No one even thought N64 was even possible.

How do you know "It just won't happen"?

You want dreamcast? N64 is running a lot of games at playable speeds - Dreamcast is playing ZERO games at playable speeds.

Dreamcast may not even run any games at playable speeds.

Edit: You should be flamed, horribly!
Most people here never say never!

Oh lawd, don't start talking about people requiring credibility for their posts. Everyone still remembers the posts YOU were making when you first got here, Oddball. ^_^

I originally came here with a goal, and I didn't intend to stay around.... Then I ended up staying. :D

My first post's were for porting Arduino IDE (still a goal).
Then the shit started being rambled.
I wasn't too bad

monkey-island reply: Too bad no one's ever remembered YOU at all.

my reply: Untrue, I don't remember.

I don't get the monkey-island thing, care to explain it?

I was just picking on oddball, I'm not gonna quiz you guys on his posts or something... it's okay if you don't remember. He knows I'm being facetious.

It's one of the pirate insults in Monkey Island

Insult: I've heard you were a contemptible sneak.
Retort: Too bad no one's ever heard of YOU at all.
