The "port Request" Wiki Page

Oh here we go.

"Sorry! We could not process your edit due to a loss of session data. Please try again. If it still doesn't work, try logging out and logging back in."

Fuckery! Now I can't log in either. It had some weirdness last week too, was offline for a while. I'm starting to get a gut feeling that it all needs to be backed up, now.

I've found that you can stay logged in by checking the box marked "Remember me on this computer" will allow you to stay logged in. Of course, I still can't edit.

Oh well, I'll just save some wiki markup code on my post to just splice into the port requests later.

CODE
|Ardentryst
|Action/RPG sidescroller
|[http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=215260 Link]
|-

That should do it, right?

That'll do the job. My version is still sitting in Notepad:

CODE
|Ardentryst
|Action/RPG
|[http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=215260 Link]
|Homepage [http://jordan.trudgett.com/ here].
|-

Thanks very muchly guys. :D

It's such a shame the wiki is being wonky, though. :/ Hopefully this is resolved quickly, as I'm hoping to be able to participate more in adding to it (well, assuming more stuff comes to mind - I was thinking of trawling the port requests thread to make sure everything from there is on the equivalent wiki page, if that would be of any help).

@Aethix - Thanks for the pointer on the checkbox. I get the same issue as you with it checked (can stay logged in, but can't edit).

I know this question is irrelevant and nooby. I want to know if Pandora games are made specifically to work on Angstrom or doesn't it matter what operating system your using (on the Pandora)?

Could someone also add Spring engine (Source)? Pandora might not be powerful enough to run it decently, but hopefuly someone will port it anyway.

Good question. As long as your operating system is Linux-based and has all the right libraries installed [SDL, OpenGL] in the standard filesystem locations, all the Pandora games and applications should work. But the Angstrom that ships with the Pandora will have all the right libraries installed already, so it will be easiest to use that.

Good news--I can edit again, and I added Ardentryst to the page. Hopefully the issue was fixed.

I added it.

Thanks very much, Aethix. :D

I can edit again too, now, which I'm glad to see. I just sorted out Ubuntu's status on the Projects Under Development page, as well.

What about Gamg Garrison 2? ( http://www.ganggarrison.com/ )

It's all 8-bit and pixel-y, so I don;t think graphics would be an issue. I also know that the download comes with the source code.

Beyond that, however, I have no idea if it's possible. I'd rather post this here and have it be supported or shot down (and then add to the wiki if supported).

Thoughts?

The main file in the source is Gang Garrison 2.gmk. .GMK is the format for Game Maker projects.

Hello.

I could not find "Wing Commander: Privateer Gemini Gold" on the wiki.
is it a possible request?

http://priv.solsector.net/

the source code is here I think:

http://privateer.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/privateer/privgold/dependencies/

I was unable to find licensing information, but it seems to be open source at least, so yes it can be ported.
