The Hate For "thumbs.db" Files

These files usually spawned by browsing the directories with images in Windows XP explorer.exe
Why everybody is so tolerant for them? None of genuine GP2X software uses them (as far as I remember).
They are even got they way into the skin-paks! Soon all of our NAND will be a "Thumbs.db" occupation territory. Maybe they is the cause of bad blocks on flash?

Are we so careless? :)

Note: no file format discrimination (remember there are kids readind this forum!)

No, the causes are well known and it's due to poor code.

1. Open Control Panel
2. Double-click Folder Options
3. Click on the View tab
4. Check off the circle next to Do not cache thumbnails
5. Click the Ok button

Hey presto, no more thumbnails will be created!
