Libsyndicate: (seems like the natural choice)

The code of the library doesn't need no any third party software.
There is sample code for using the library that need SDL and the original game.

freesynd: (more complete but Libsyndicate hints that the code that access data is obscure )
FreeSynd is a cross-platform, GPLed reimplementation of the classic Bullfrog game, Syndicate.

deSyndicate: (could be a good information sit on data file structure)
deSyndicate is a collaborative effort to decode Syndicate data files

Holy crap, this would be awesome! I didn't even know an interpreter existed for the pc. Syndicate was one of my favourite games in times of the 486. I tried the genesis and the snes versions emulated. I don't like them too much, an interpreter would be great!

I used to love Syndicate! Maybe I should try and get a gp2x version working :)

However, before anyone thinks of even doing that, did anyone get the first level of Freesync running? (or any other syndicate remake?)
