meh, i'm soldering right now
preword:
- don't say, this is cool
- don't ask why
- don't tell me it's impossible
- don't flame, tell me i'm crazy blah, asnwer the question or not

the question:
can i use handshaking for port0 or port1, or just for port0/port1?
i mean, is it possible to use Rx0,Tx0,(the handshaking-crap) for one thing and Rx1,Tx1 for the other
or Rx1,Rx1,(handshaking-crap) for one thing and Rx0,Tx0 for the other

or is handshaking bound to Rx0,Tx0 or Rx1, Tx1?

(i think, it's not, but want to make sure)

(btw, this is for a modem + ps/2-keyboard, stick to the preword!)

Only the modem needs handshaking. And only Port0 can give it. You might want to look at the specs of PS/2 though, because the modem uses a UART but I believe keyboards use synchronized serial communication (Just look at the pinout, you'll see clck or clock somewhere). So you'll need a converter (uC).
