i have noticed that SMS32 emu 0.5 has problem with saving game states. Ii ve testes two games: Phantasy Star (SMS) - actually in this case a game offers us 5 or 4 slots. After saving all of them, you can theoretically overwrite them. But after saving, aside that we get message that saving was finished successfully, and restoring those saves doesnt work. The second game i've tested was Shining Force (GG). After saving it says that everything is ok, but whe you want to restore your progress it starts the game from the begining.
So to conlude. Any idea what is wrong ? or maybe there is something with emu ? Or just those games cant save progress :))?

The Wonderboi wonderswan emu does the same thing. I can only assume that the emus don't have support for the SRAM... The save slots work until you turn the system off. The way I got around this is using the Save states, although I'm not sure if the SMS emu supports them (it should).

Just be careful not to "save state" rather than "load state".... I lost my FF2 game that way... DOH!

You just need to create a gp:\GPMM\SMS32\SAVS folder to hold the saved data .

The SMS32 can use S-RAM files for Master System and Game Gear games
