Dapper, dashing, genteel, jaunty, natty, recherche, ritzy, spruce, sumptuous, tony, tricksy, trig; you know, posh!Shikaku posted on Mar 6 2006 at 06:04 PM said:Ravnos posted on Mar 6 2006 at 12:05 PM said:Public schools are "posh" in the UK? What's posh?
Hahaha I got invited to an assessment center to do a placement there for my CS course. Turns out their 'CS placement position' is just fucking technical support, you just sit there replying to customer emails all day. Great way to flex your skills :rolleyes:mick_aka posted on Mar 6 2006 at 01:38 PM said:Christ, hes not from jagex games is he?
I was unfortunate enough to attend a recruitment seminar by a bunch of posh public school boys from the games company 'jagex'
It was the most nonsensical, big headed load of tripe ever.
That happened to me before for a different company. I applied for a position listed as "Unix Systems Specialist", and when I showed up for the interview I found out I was going to be doing tech support for the company's Linux-based point of sale system for less money than I was making doing tech support somewhere else.Rico posted on Mar 7 2006 at 07:02 AM said:Hahaha I got invited to an assessment center to do a placement there for my CS course. Fortunately I found a decent job elsewhere so I didn't have to go.
