A single processor does not a machine make. The PSX could render a couple hundred-thousand more polygons per second than the N64 could. no, not really. Isn't a 100 mhz 64 bit processor better than a 28 mhz 32 bit?

and if you compare the dreamcast and ps2, dreamcast games are way smoother and sleeker.
My point is really made for the handheld arena, which Nintendo has been in for decades and has remained on top despite releasing systems with much less power than their competitors.
