Cheapie SDHC cards (16g+) are NOT SAFE for constant use (Id Est, housing an OS), burst access is the intended use (PMP's, digital cameras).
The cheaper large SDHC cards (A-Data, RiData, Transcend etc.) are buggy, and have a tendency to bust with constant read/write use, you've been warned
Well if you can tell us what NOT to buy, then what is GOOD to buy for constant use, may I ask?
I would truly like to know
I'm not an expert... but I'd say stick with the bigger names; SanDisk, Kingston, when buying larger capacity cards. The cheapie bastards sacrifice quality for speed and storage, so you'll see SanDisk 16g cards are slower, and more expensive, but they work far better.
Yeah, I mean for photographers they want class 6 good burst memory, but I am sure it can wear out eventually. And I thought that Kingston was a 2nd class rate brand, so far their products have not failed me at all yet though
