Searching For Something But No Reward!!

Daley Thompsons decathlon on the Speccy was always my favourite ;)

I seem to remember a winter olympics game for the amiga that was pretty good, or at least the bobsleigh was.

Mr Men olympics on the amiga was good too, seem to remember that was the game that finally broke my joystick

International Track and Field for the Playstation was good (as long as you have nimble fingers). Plug a cheat cartridge in and you can throw the javelin out of the stadium :D

The original arcade games were undoubtedly the best:

Track & Field

and the sequel

Hyper Sports

(Track and Field runs great on Mame :D )

My dad bought me a microswitched joystick just for that game. The normal ones were starting to make funny squeeky noises... kind of like plastic that's being heated up and then stretched to breaking point. I wonder why that was?

That microswitched joystick was the best arcade-style stick i've ever used.

(wow, a google image search for "joystick spectrum" brings back some memories!)

I second that, Track & Field and Hyper Sports, the best hands down.

I used to love Winter Olympics '88 on the Atari ST... It came free with my mate's STFM I think. There was a crap opening ceremony animation we used to hate, but I'd love to see again... :)
