Hey, I had this old SD wireless card that I used in a PDA a while ago

http://www.ambicom.com/products/wave2net/wl11-sd25.html

I was wondering how easily it would be to port the drivers and the pda software that the company offers (I've seen some pda software ported so I don't know if it would be hard or not) it would be very cool if this could be used for wireless networking.

No Linux drivers at first glance which isn't a good start :(

There may be Linux drivers that will work with the same chipset.. it's just finding the damn things.

EDIT: You need to find compatible drivers for AmbiCom WL11 SD Card Driver Pocket PC 2002/Windows Mobile 2003

If the card has an FCC ID you can look up the card on the FCC web site and they have pictures of the device opened up. From thoses pictures you can some times get the chipset numbers.
