Hi all,

Having graduated, it's time to make a purchase. I'd like to buy from Craig's (www.gp2x.co.uk) since he has the most informative site of any GP2X authorized reseller. Hopefully, orders from the United States won't be hit too hard w/ import duties.

Although some of this information is scattered across other threads, there are a couple of items worth taking care of while waiting for the GP2X to arrive.

- The SD card reader. I have both a 2GB and a 512MB card. Some threads suggest formatting them using an SD card reader rather than formatting as FAT32 under WinXP. I have a USB "card reader" which takes an SD card as input; WinXP then recognizes the card as a drive. I don't know whether this device may format the card on its own. Can any Sandisk-brand card readers from Circuit City or Best Buy do this? Also, if formatted in this manner, will WinXP still recognize the card so that files may be transferred?

- Batteries. Which brand / model of rechargeables are best?

Also, any negative comments about quality/service/feedback with Craig?

Thanks!
