After installing HF6 updater, I can't shutdown my Panda completely.

When I click on "shutdown", all windows close, leds turn off, but the screen remains ON.

I did this many times, and it won't turn off. I have to remove the battery.

What's wrong ? Do I have to reflash it ?

Thanx !

Instead of clicking shut down form the menu try holding the Pandora button[the button with the Pandora logo] and holding the on/off switch to the right for a couple seconds. Do both together.

Hope this helps.

That's a hard reset, won't turn off the panda.
I thought maybe the screen would go off though??

This is the culprit yes??

Sorry if the information was poor.

It happens every once and a while, if it does, just do a hard reset and while it is booting hold the right trigger and select power off to turn off the device. Annoying bug.

My understanding is that several folks have encountered issues with using the Hotfix 6 PND-updater to update from Hotfix 5. I did, myself, and just reflashed with the full Hotfix 6 flasher - after that, all was well.

Ok, so the problem doesn't come from the updater, but from the wifi.

I have to toggle the wifi OFF before the shutdown so that the pandora really turns off.

Now I would like to add some sort of script to turn wifi off when I shutdown or a "launcher" to click on, any help ?

I reflashed Hot Fix 6 and it has a "Toggle Wifi" button right beside the wifi icon. In XFCE of course.
