Because he sells Roms. And maybe copyrighted movies.Mark posted on Jul 22 2004 at 09:30 AM said:Good luck to him, if he can sell it why not?
He isn't selling roms as such. If someone wants a BLU, they are obvouisly going to use it for emulation. That's what GamePark's are for, whatever anyone says.Mosch posted on Jul 22 2004 at 11:02 AM said:Because he sells Roms. ‘No Extras’ – I think we can all see there are sufficient extras included, as kindly indicated by Septera
“£200’ – as pointed out by Maks this is a ‘Buy it Now Price’, this means that I am willing to sell the item as the starting price of £175, however, if someone really want the product they can guarantee success for £200.
“So a cd of roms and ….Sounds like a bunch of robbing bastards to me” – Two Full DVDs, sir. Now for the robbing bastards remark. I think the term ‘robbing bastards’ should be reserved for someone on ebay who actually is a robbing bastard. A person who takes your cash and runs. I am certainly not a robbing bastard. Everything is clearly written and described and is most certainly truthful. Although I only have 14 feedback, you can see it is 100% positive. You have no right to call me a robbing bastard, and as of now, I demand an apology for that statement.
“They probly Forum Board members too - Hell could even be Craig with a illicete side project to gbax - Opps dont wanna start any more conspiricy rumours” – so you’re one of those people, no-one actually believes that crap. I could read that as a joke, but for some reason, I dont.

cheeky bastards done it before too http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=8109710072 GP32 non-flu for £150?!!!
this is effectively selling illegal roms, what a con!
I sell the GP32, the roms come free. It may be argued that buyers like the deal because of the roms, but there is no way for sure of knowing this. Anyway, put your magnifying glass away now Sherlock.
An example of another GP32: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...agename=rvi:1:2

In a way you are correct. Not everyone is computer savvy. They would much rather have a way of receiving roms than going through the ordeal of finding them themselves, despite how easy is may seem to me or you…and yes, I would try and sell our FLU, it cant hurt to give it a go.

“It's up to the bidders what they pay for it...” – never a truer words spoken. Timeslip has nothing to do with it.
Mark – keep up the good work on the magize, mate, great read.
Don't BLU's cost about 160 from GBAX? And he is throwing in the disks, so whiles it's a rip off it isn't that bad. Good luck to him, if he can sell it why not? – Exactly.
“He isn't selling roms as such. If someone wants a BLU, they are obvouisly going to use it for emulation. That's what GamePark's are for, whatever anyone says.
He's just providing them on some dvd's so that people don't have to download them. I can see where you're coming from though”. – the words of a sane man.

“The starting bid is £175, and yeah, on GBAX including VAT i think it comes to £160 or something, so it's not the worst thing ever. He's not threatening to kill anybody if he doesn't find a buyer or anything”. – This man knows what he’s talking about. Rip off Merchant, Timeslip? This is an honest deal.

“Because he sells Roms. And maybe copyrighted movies”. – the roms are free. I cant tell you the number of requests I’ve had just to sell the DVDs. They come free with the GP32. I’m glad you said “maybe” there at the end. If you didn’t, you would have been number two on my list.

“a gp32 BLU is well worth £200 its just that other people sell them cheaper” – thanks moz, remember, your’e the one who made me get a BLU in the first place. Thanks, I do not regret it at all.
No need for that. What have you got against me?EvilDragon posted on Jul 22 2004 at 12:24 PM said:I just reported this auction to eBay.
