Revisit the TV out cable design


wouldnt you lose some fidelity by having to connect additional cables rather than just having 1 streight though cable?

This is like one of those "Monster cables" vs "Poundland" cables debates.


Generally if the connection is sound and the cable run is short you won't notice a difference.


Where the cable quality becomes an issue is over long runs (attenuation), or where there is going


to be a likelihood of interference. In this case the cables are carrying an analogue signal


rather than digital, so could be more influenced by interference, but all said I'd bet that you


wouldn't notice any degradation.


If the community votes for the long cables, I'm fine with that.


I'll cut the cable and add my own phono connectors and will end up with the


"short + extension" cable option anyway.

well its not a 10m cable anyway but a 3 meter cable, which isnt too long really is it :) especially if it comes with a velco strip for keeping it tied neetly :)
