i could copy them to my nand folder right? i just want to get vektor and the sdl stuff back. it kills me not having the defaults now!
 
Download the FW 2.0 zip, extract it and then extract gp2xnand.tar.gz. There, done :)

However, there is nothing important on the NAND anyway - Vectar is just a game and the licenses can be scrapped so really, there is no reason for you to do this.
 
so all teh sdl stuff is ingrained int eh kernel? ill still be able to do everything that i could before right? other than vektor?
 
There was never any SDL stuff on the user-accessible part of the NAND, no. It is in the root filesystem portion, where the OS lies, so will still be there. If you really want to play the Vectar demo, you can get it off the archives,
