They won't work on all pandoras.
The problem there is that they don't care about the driver for anything other than the latest chip revision.
They just make sure you get a somewhat working driver if you buy a new chip from them, for old stuff, you're just lucky if it still works at all.
Only really old drivers will work with the first pandoras, some slightly less old ones will work with the rebirth ones, and something a bit more recent will work on the 1ghz pandora.
So the recipe only builds the really old ones, so they'll work on all pandoras.
And if anyone wants to experiment there is that driver switcher pnd.
A major problem with those old drivers is also that they'll only work when the firmware is built for softfp, and the entire arm world basically moved to hardfp a while ago.
