Would this work for a Wireless USB Reciever?

Cheers.

p.s. Told you it was quick.

Ok, so does anyone know of any other ports on the back of my laptop I can exploit to make a usb port?

It's a rather old dell. Parts will cost a bomb.

I'll take a photo in the morning.

I had an old laptop with no USB, if you have a card slot you can get a USB card for it.

look at this link link to an eBay auction.

Funnily enough, I was just looking at them, but I was debating whether they were going to work with the linux that's on my laptop (Ubuntu).

Thanks for the link though, this is the cheapest one i have seen yet.

And if anyone knows whether this cardbus will work with Ubuntu, please speak up.

Is it just me or are there no pins in a usb port?

Well at there they are...
There's a single "block" with 4 pins. Can't you just bend it back?

Well using that advice, I have managed to snap the pins off. Cheers.
