hello,
Im looking forward to make the voltage mod but Im not sure if the value I calculated are safe...
the GP32 is by default 200k(R48) and 470k(R52)
BUT Using : 1.25 * (R48 + R52 ) / R52 I think its good to use :
R48 = 260k
R52 remain unchanged ie : 470k
that makes 1.94V...This is still in the 'OK range' B)
I think this is enough to allow 166MHz OC....maybe more
are those settings corrects or do I need to change both resistors?
thx for any hlp :)

see you

DO you think 2.00 volts will kill the gP32? I was thinking off doing this mod or have a store do it for me so I was just wondering.

By the way Robster, your mods for your Gp32are awesome! Maybe you'll find a way how to put a 200mhz arm chip in the GP32!

Mine is running at !.97 and it is fine. :)

I think your mod will be fine and yes it will overclock at 166 after you do it.

I can overclock as high as any program allows.

Oh and as high as my batteries allow. With normal AA batteries it won't overclock high for long. But with 2000mah NIMH I can overclock up to 180.

Thats the highest I can try as I don't have a program that goes higher.

Hi I made the OC mod but there was something strange :
the resistors inside my GP32 were not the same as the things said on cobbleware...
I got R48 = 300 and R52 = 640
instead of 200 and 470
So I changed R52 from 640 to 563 and that give me a 1.91V output but I cant use my GP32 with the FLU on while clocking at 166MHz : what is the matter?
There is no Prob at all if I run it without flu @ 166 or running at 166 with FLU using the AC adapter....

Do I have to change my batteries?
tell me please....(Im using NiMH GP1800)

see you

Batteries are VERY important after doing the voltage mod.
I use 2200 mah and it's just fine.

Your batteries might be dying or going bad, I'd suggest new ones.
