Quake 2 Files?

Trying to load Quake 2

Have loaded pnd and ran it once to create appdata directory

i then put the pak files (and all others) in this directory but still wont start

Help aprpeciate!

Have a look in the Documentation section on the XFCE menu. If created properly the PND should have added an entry to there which might explain what to do.

Thanks for the tip ... had a look there was indeed a file, but could not find anything in there

Are pack files directly in appdata folder? Haven't messed with it in a long while, but I believe they should be in a baseq2 folder which would reside in the appdata folder...

you need to create a folder called baseq2 in the /pandora/appdata/quake2/ folder and put the pak files there.
