Hi, so after having a Pyra for a couple of years, I finally got around to turning it on. All seemed to go ok with initial setup, but when it got to "locales" it seemed to hang (or I was too impatient) and then I shut down and restarted the process. Anyway I eventually got through this but had to enter a different username each time as it wouldn't let me reuse the original. Is there anyway to go back and delete these (or factory reset and start again)?

@Vorbis

Likely you will want to re-image the pyra. There are several methods, but the easiest method is to download an install image and put it on a SD card you won't care about losing the data on it.

- Download the buster Install image, select one that says install (Old, but most stable): https://packages.pyra-handheld.com/rootfs/buster/
- un7zip the image file
- using a imaging tool if on windows, Balena Etcher is a good one. or just use dd on linux if you're savvy enough, or use Balena Etcher for Linux to write that image to the SD card.
- Once that image file is on the SD card, Put the SD card in the left SD card slot and power it on, This image specifically will re-image a fresh OS to the internal eMMC and will bring up the first boot wizard after it reboots itself.

One note, you will want to change /etc/apt/sources.list file and change any mention of deb.debian.org to archive.debian.org as they moved the buster repository as it's fairly old.

Thanks. I'm definitely not savvy sadly . I was also unable to install any packages as I am getting a lock file error. Hopefully a fresh install will fix that too.
