Oh and btw, I got the threaded ARM assembly interpreter working!
This should add another 2-3 FPS to games on top of what Unai has done with the GPU.
Keep in mind the ARM assembly I did is probably very inefficient so I'm working on improving it. There should be further speed increases coming from this development. The ARM assembly interpreter also means soon a dynarec can be made.
Sorry that I haven't had any posts made lately. I have been super busy with this interpreter.
I'm going to see if an official release can be made soon now that Unai has fixed a lot of bugs, and I got the ARM assembly interpreter made.
Thanks to Tinnus for getting things started with the interpreter.
Oh, I'm also investigating a suggestion from Unai about underclocking. It might add the same amount of speed to the GTE OPs (3D operations).

Bugs, lots of them, we don't need the people who haven't used beta emulators complaining about the bugs and swamping the forums with bitching (more than they already do that is ).why have there been no public releases in awhile? they used to publicly release all of them
That's good, SotN and In the Hunt are the two main things I want a PSX emu for. Also, maybe a few of the RPGs I missed out on like Wild Arms and whatnot.I've always wanted to play Synphony of the Night, I hear it's one of the all time best platformers. Looks like it's not long now before it's playable
The latest update from unai says it is now emulated perfectly, but still a bit slow (playable though).
Won't be long until it's zippy I'm sure
what do you mean swamping the forums and bitching? there was none of that at all, everyone posted their tests in the release thread and gave great feedback, i was testing many games at the start and trying to help as much as possible..but i dont hit him up $5 and i dont get to provide my testing anymore =( lame.
no one ever said it's fullspeed bro. This is pretty good progress thus farIts good but a wee bit slow but still playable & will the first tony hawks game work (it will probaly be a no but i love that game)

I've donated heaps to both authors and I'm not on some secret beta tester distro list. The last release was the semi public one, so there is no secret beta releases only for those who donate.
ditto on the donating. Never got the beta even when I asked for it though.
And after I went thrugoh all that trouble of ripping all those games to HD now that I can use Samba instead of "copy to card, test, delete from card, repeat"
le sigh.

I think if you just donate to him he will get you on the beta-relase bandwagon, that seems fair enough to me.
any idea when next public beta is ready? I promise I won't bitch about bugs
I hope to have the next version before I go on holiday so I can play FF7
anyway great work!!!!! can't wait for the next version!
