I think there are 2 nubs, 1 above the dpad and the other above the buttons on the right, which looks a lot more comfortable than the placement of the slider on the PSP1...interesting.
Sony Ericsson is also a joint venture between two companies, not directly part of the Sony empire, and it certainly isn't part of Sony Computer Entertainment. Sony have let them use the cybershot and walkman brands already, so it's possible they'd do the same with the PSP brand, but I can't see the real successor to the PSP being released by Sony Ericsson.
