DONT BE STUPID,The gp32 is going to be shit compared to the pspl,Stop hanging on.The gp32 is getting shitter by the day. Zodiac is the way to go.Then psp. Then whatever next.
The power of GP32 is in fact that it is "open source" console. People who bought it - bought it for its nostalgia/retro factor. I bought it for its C64/Atari 8bit/Nes emulation. Not for games. PSP will have more powerfull hardware what make possible to play all those fancy PSX games. But it wont be as open source as GP32. Check list of emulators for PSX 1. Not many
And probably the same will be with PSP. And here we come to conclusion. As it was written many many times regarding questions: What to buy GP32 or GBA ? You can buy GBA for many commercial games (but dont forget that near 70-80% of GBA games are just crap) or GP32 if you are retrofan, like opensource/scene projects. This also the factor that after near 2 years with only 30 commercial games it is still cool and great console for certain people. For people like me even better PSP wont give so great gaming experience. I am one of those who preffer to play Commando or Last Ninja on c64 emu the new Tekken 2000 or whatever on PSP. Of course i will buy PSP for Square games that will be probably published for it, but it is what i do all the time. I own a lot of consoles since NES times (actually i own pirated clone called Pegagus (Dendy in Russia) but only GP32 has influenced me so much and caused to make this site. So i think discussing what is better: GP32 or GBA/PSP/Nintendo DS is pointless. GBA/PSP/DS are for masses where GP32 is not.
