Port Request: Dropbox

 Some guys on the german boards mentioned, that it would be only a matter of porting it because of some code available somewhere...

It is a nautilus plugin, so gnome dependencies and we use thunar, not nautilus.

Edit: And it's python...

Sure about that?
If I recall correctly after installing dropbox, on first run, Dropbox downloads a service or client to do the actual connection and talking.
The only source available is probably the Nautilus integration, which... isn't all that important.
I use Xubuntu with its Xfce and dropbox works like a charm. Even icons get updated with the sync, not sync, in progress icons.

The N900 has some sort of python port using Dropbox api, but I haven't read good things about it.

I have the feeling the program closed code is part of the "added value" companies usually invest. I've already got bitten by that when I discovered the program was compiled with i686 and died with a SIG_ILL on my Via C3 and being unable to do a thing about it.

I didn't dig too deep here, that was just my first impression.
