poor mans ICP

It's by the same company as the iCade. I guess that they're expanding their product line and making the name into a brand (or trying to, anyway). If you ask me, it doesn't work quite as well for something that doesn't resemble an arcade cabinet. :p

Is this really a "poor mans ICP" though? It's still more expensive than any of the ICP sets.

errr ... i have to plead guilty to not even knowing that the ICP was cheaper than that!

In that case this thing is a poor mans ICP, as in a man of poor choice, not monetary :)

So has ICP always been that cost, i was under the impression it was more expensive for some reason, has it come down in price?

Who has one of these and running it with an Android phone, I'm wondering which emus are working well with it?

There's that nifty little app for iOS that makes this work with all sorts of apps but thats only for iOS which is neh good for me.

Let me know please, think i will buy my ICP on friday then :)

EDIT: Ok i see the compatibility list of emus and there are enough to keep me happy. Im ording one on friday when paid, i hope the delivery is just 3-5 days too as shown/

Roll on payday

Wow... it's now for sale? I'm going to have to turn my blagometer up to 11 and get my hands on it. I imagine it's pretty good as far as basic iCade-compatibility functions go.

It looks far, far, far, FAR too big though. Even the iControlPad is too big. A portable device should be accompanied by a similarly portable gaming controller.

Just a pre order thing for now, expected in >8 weeks it says.

Looks like iphone only too which is a downer

Bugger, that's too bad, looks fairly decent for other gaming needs other than iPhone. :p

Kinda agree with Gadgetoid tho, it does look a bit big. Granted the iPhone isn't huge, but still. One day, one day. ^_^

I have an ICP and use it on my Android phone occasionally, It works fine on most of the better emulators as they added in ICP support directly into the emulator.. And Actually Android has a fancy app too.. Bluez IME any app that uses keyboard input can use the ICP..
