Yepp and finaly SID File Support.Retro update ^^.
Thx !
Here the Howto how you can make it @ Home
- Download the SMPlayer2 PND and start it.
http://repo.openpandora.org/?page=detail&app=package.smplayer2
- Let the SMPlayer Window and start a Terminal
- start a "sudo thunar"
- go with Thunar into /mnt/utmp/smplayer2
- copy the Directorys bin and lib into /usr (need only 6MB)
now have you installed Mplayer into the Nand and you dont need anymore a PND for Videoplayback.
For testing choose a Videofile in Thunar and choose open with other Application:
use a custom command and type in "mplayer -zoom "
please let after that word zoom one space free.
Thunar remind it and ask next Time with this Filetyp for opening with mplayer.
Mplayer should start your Video and with the Key F have you Fullscreen
Work fine on Rebirth and 1GHZ here.
There is enough Space in the Nand for that
Some Videos are black but when you go in Fullscreen work they mostly.
With that need you never again a PND for playing Videos, but the Gui in PanPlayer is my more Favourite
When you want to play TV Out Combatible with this Tip can you type in open with other Applications:
"mplayer -zoom -vo x11 "
dont forget to let after x11 one Space empty.
The play the Videos on TV Out too fine.
panplayer2 wouldnt be necessary per se, it's basically just smplayer2 with a file picker right?I ended up installing panplayer2 to nand so i could associate file types and play my sshfs share straight from gigolo since panplayer2 couldn't browse folders on the share
sh /usr/pandora/scripts/pndrun.sh [path-to-smplayer-pnd] && /mnt/utmp/[smplayerfolder]/[smplayerbinary] -[optionsforfullscreen]
Ah i understand.
You simply want Mplayer on Zaxxon?
Here see in the Description from this Video:
Its the Same Mplayer Version which i used for the PanPlayer PND
sudo mkdir /media/shared
sudo mount -tcifs -o username=ingoreis;password=********* //192.168.0.1/netzwerkstick /media/shared
Hi i have 2 good news:
1st.)
PanPlayer2 have now the newest Mplayer Version compiled from Yesterday
(its little little bit slower, but just a little bit)
https://repo.openpandora.org/?page=detail&app=PanPlayer2-Zoom
2st.)
I can play wonderfull Videos over Network with my Pandora
Just found out that its very simple with the right Commands.
so no need for Gigolo
Open a Terminal and type:
and then you must adapt this Command to your IP,Shared Device and Username/PasswordsCode:sudo mkdir /media/shared
Code:sudo mount -tcifs -o username=ingoreis;password=********* //192.168.0.1/netzwerkstick /media/shared
and all my Data from the Networkshared USB Stick is now normaly Accessible in /media/shared
and can be played with a fast Wlan Dongle on the Pandora with PanPlayer2
