I have that exact pad too. im sure it will, though, a generic usb controller driver would work.

I think this is a standard USB HID and their are reports of it working with 2.6.x kernels so it should be possible. Guess it's difficult to know without being sure exactly what modules or higher level software will be included with the Pandora, but I'd expect you'll be able to sort something out.

The 2.6 Kernels should compile fine for ARM as should most of the modules. As long as Desktop linux has a module for the controller, you should get the same module for Pandora.

I have this exact gamepad for my mythtv frontend Slackware linux system downstairs. Works great with MythGame! Drivers shouldn't be an issue, they show up nicely during kernel boot.

that controller looks cool. I'm planning on using either a 360 pad or one of those crappy usb playstation clones you find on ebay.

I was thinking on using a PS3 controller with Bluetooth, but I have the same Logitech one to tide me over until then.

We should have support for USB just fine.

I wait to see how well homebrew supports USB, I hope it will be included with the SDKs so that it is supported very well from day 1.

I´m also planing to buy the pad Streak has posted.

Good to read that you all think it should work just fine with the Pandora.

one word about this pad: it is brilliant
excellent design and well done [ all components ]. Work excellent with all emus and media center / or gameex. If it will work with pandora ill be in heaven [ almost :0 ]

it doesnt need drivers [ of course theyre included]. just push into usb and it works. vibration depends on a game / emu. For example in pSX emu + syphon filter 3 works excellent.
