When I power my pandy off, it turns itself on after a few seconds. The charger is not plugged in.
Is it supposed to be that way?

The battery is not loose and have tried reflashing.

Cheers guys

yup via the menu and by holding the power switch to the right for 5 or so seconds

Hmm, that's a puzzling one

Tried plugging in the charger and remove it again? Maybe the chip got a hang there.
Or remove the battery for 10 minutes to reset the board completely.

Was the battery empty when your received the unit? Or did you switch it on normally for the first time?

This happened to me once, remedied by removing the battery for a few minutes.

If it started without the battery being inserted would really worry me

iI thought that holding the power switch was supposed to restart? At least that's what my unit does too. Try selecting shutdown from the xfce panel or via the select menu on minimenu and let the machine shut itself off without you touching the power button.

I reflashed again and that seems to have fixed it.

I'm glad there is no danger of bricking when flashing yourself!

Cheers peoples :)

same problem here. pandora starts as soon as it gets power (battery or ac)
if I shutdown with the minimenu, it restarts, and the login screen comes again.
removins battery few minutes does not work, i mean... :D it powers off, but it powers on by itself when I connect it again (or plug the AC adapter)

please, could you tell me how you reflashed?

thanks

^ Plugging in the PSU _must_ turn on the device. It shouldn't stay on when shutting down(via menu) with only the battery inserted(always make sure to insert the battery when the PSU is _not_ connected at the same time).

thx mali, i try several posibilities except the correct one :)

disconecting the PSU and turning off via menu did the job

[SOLVED] (for me :)
