Pandora As A Pocket Pc - What Will/won't Do?

Since I knew about Pandora's project I'm wondering about the software that will run on it.
Will it be able to run normal Linux programs? Will it need ported programs always?

For example, will we see Firefox, Openoffice, a decent Pdf reader, flash players (enough to see Youtube videos or similar at least)...?

Yes, if they are compiled for ARM. Porting won't always be necessary.
 
yes and no. sometimes the framework of the OS and custom functions may come in, but optimization is always good :)

Ohh yeah, and FF has already been running without any optimizations. don't know about the others, but I would not worry about that. Isn't java already ported for the ARM processor?
