Pandora 1GHz can put a sim card and make some calls

I don't think there's room inside a pandora, and its nearing the end of its commercial life anyway.

Of course, if you feel like adding a GSM module to your pandora as a hack, We'd love to see the results.

Also bear in mind that the upcoming Dragonbox Pyra will have an optional built-in 3G module.

AIUI that's basically what goes into a Pyra, albeit a 3/4G version rather than a 2.5G GPRS- module. That and a newer processor, better screen, keyboard and all the other gubbins that come from making something when you already know what you're doing.

On a pandora, you can bluetooth to your phone and issue the same AT commands if you really want to.

Hello,

Is it possible to put SIM900 GSM module compatible with Pandora like this one on RaspBerry PI?

If yes we can call with a sim card.

Thanks in advance.
In theory yes, as the Pandora has an uart interface readily available to communicate with the GSM module. But due to the size, this definately won't fit into the Pandora (see the video in my signature), but it could be "tacked on" to the Pandora using the ext. Connector. Software should be the next obstacle then.
