So...

As far as I can tell, i've installed the toolchain correctly, but i can't seem to get it to run. Is it because the package available for download is not a Darwin build? Or should that not matter?

The error that I get is this:

CODE
-bash: ./arm-openwiz-linux-gnu-gcc: cannot execute binary file

I put it in /opt...

are there any Darwin developers on this board?

Thanks,

neogml

The Wiz toolchain uses scripts for Linux. OSX/Darwin is not Linux, is based in FreeBSD I think.
The problem is that OS X does not use ELF binaries, use other format.

You can use the GP2X toolchain for OSX and compile with dynamic libraries.

You can use the <a href="http://dl.openhandhelds.org/cgi-bin/gp2x.cgi?0,0,0,0,14,885" target="_blank">GP2X toolchain for OSX</a> and compile with dynamic libraries.

did that. now wondering where i can find the library sources, so i can compile them. (http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?/topic/47875-the-reason-there-is-no-full-firmware-update/page__st__30__p__727888&#entry727888 this looks more like the low-level linux kernel stuff).

any ideas where i can get the library sources?
